1. When I try to download "Marketing Your Art" my computer says "Do you want to Save or Run this file?" What should I do?
You can actually do either, but if you want to have a free copy of "Marketing Your Art" please select Save. "Marketing Your Art" was written to be a comprehensive resource for artists and is consequently 60 pages long. So, if you choose to Run "Marketing Your Art" rather than Save it you will have to read it all in one sitting. If you choose to Save "Marketing Your Art" you will be able to read it at your leisure and refer back to those sections which are most helpful to you.
2. I've downloaded "Marketing Your Art", but now I can't find it on my computer. Where is it?
Unfortunately, we can't help you much with this question because while downloading "Marketing Your Art" you could have selected to Save the book anywhere on your local computer. One thing you can do to help find your local copy of "Marketing Your Art" is to search for the file usinf Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer), which by default is called art-marketing-book.exe. You may also re-download "Marketing Your Art" by filling out the form at http://www.artmarketingbook.com.
3. When I try to click on "Marketing Your Art" to open it my computer says "Security Warning-The publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?" I thought this was a book, not software?
"Marketing Your Art" is a multi-media eBook. Because it has certain features like the ability to flip pages with a mouse click or click on a link to one of our partners websites it must be saved and run as an executable file. The security warning on your computer pops-up when you try to run "Marketing Your Art" because most viruses and trojan horses are spread as executable files. "Marketing Your Art" was developed in-house and lives on our servers, so we can assure our subscribers that our eBook does not contain viruses or trojan horses.
4. I love "Marketing Your Art" and tried to send it to my friend, but my friend never received it. Why?
As explained in Question 3, "Marketing Your Art" is an executable file. Many ISP's and e-mail providers do not allow executable files to be sent to their clients. Personal Firewalls and Antivirus software run on your friends local computer may also prohibit them from receiving "Marketing Your Art." Unfortunately, these problems may be caused by many different local settings of many different local computers and consequently do not have a singular solution. The best solution in this case may be to contact us so that we may send a copy on disk to your friend.
